Depends on the job, but generally yes. Being convicted of a crime is usually only detrimental (in government) if you need a security clearance.
Even then you are not precluded from getting a clearance.

depends if you were convicted of a felony and what job...go to the website of the job if they have one and see what there requirements are and automatic disqualifications....
if you were convicted of it than No, chances are you will not be able to get a government job because they generally have very strong background checks.
well it depends..if you were sentence or convicted of it you can not
