Is there any way you can get a false statement taken off your background???

A company i used to work for said I was ';terminated'; when I actually verbally quit. Also there is something from court coming up on my background check. Is there anyway to block this stuff so future employers cant see it? The termination is completely false and it looks so bad on my background when in fact it is not. What can I do to change this?

Thank you for your helpIs there any way you can get a false statement taken off your background???
Jennifer, you ARE kidding, right????what kind of damn fool would jeopardize their future by getting someone to defraud an ex employer???

Only a judge can expunge your court records/charges,as for the employer issue,a lawyer can do that LEGALLY.Is there any way you can get a false statement taken off your background???
Are you in the US? Employment records are maintained like they used to be. Where would this information be listed?

Most employers get a reference via phone call. And all they're supposed to ask is the dates your worked there and reason for leaving. So, are you worried they will say you were terminated?

I say fake call. Have a friend call your old employer asking for your dates and reason for leaving to see what they say. Just make up a company.
I recommend that you hire an attorney ahd ask him to send a letter to your former employer.

With respect to the court issue you need to ask your attorney how to clear that.
Get a written recommendation from the employer, ask to have your record expunged. (a lawyer or your county clerk's office)
ask the city mayor to pardon u?
