Is this statistic statement True or false?

If two events are mutually exclusive, they have no outcomes in common. True or False?

If two events are independent, then they are also mutually exclusive.

True or False?

Is this statistic statement True or false?
False.

If two events are independent, then if one happens, the chance of the other happening has not changed.

But for mutually exclusive event, if one happens, then the other can not happen.

So the chance of the other is affected by knowing that the first has happened.

So, mutually exclusive events are not independent.
