How can you prove that a statement is true? false?

How can you prove that a statement is true? false? How can you prove that a statement is true? false?
you prove things for your self not for others. How can you prove that a statement is true? false?
By using facts and evidence tested by a standard that all parties agree upon.
Proving that a statement is true can only be done within a context. It's creative math, that's all. If you agree on the premises of an argument then you can conclude things in the argument. If you mean proving that something is true across the board universally then the context shifts to everything existing, with many more exceptions to complex ideas. There are logical absolutes of which transcend thought and logic itself. This is a very big topic which can be studied easily by researching logical fallacies, logical absolutes and the structure of an argument.

Worked wonders for me.
Have clearly defined criteria for determining what would be 'true enough' for the parties concerned to be accepted as truth. Anything that doesn't qualify in this assessment is designated as a falsehood.

In other words, the measure of truth is really a preponderance of information that provides a sufficient solution to my quandary. Truth is 'what is true enough for me'.
Truth Tables are useful. Ask any computer programmer. They use them all the time to decide on the truth of complex statements.
A statement is a description of senses product. Any other statement contradicting it is either true or false. This is the condition 'doubt'. Which of them representing sensible product, is true; the sensible product is the proof.
