What is the penalty for false statement to a police officer if you are a minor??

The appropriate thing to say to a police officer is:

';I have nothing to say, I want a lawyer.';

Repeat as often as desired and needed.What is the penalty for false statement to a police officer if you are a minor??
You asked what penalties apply if a 17-year old is cited for possession of alcohol in a motor vehicle. You also wanted to know if the penalties differ for a 17-year old versus an 18-year old in this situation. The circumstances you cite are that the minor was arrested for possession of alcohol but was neither operating the vehicle nor behind the wheel at the time. You also wanted to know if the person will be required to file a certificate of financial responsibility upon reinstatement of his license.What is the penalty for false statement to a police officer if you are a minor??
Okay...a teenager in the US in 2008 giving false information to a police officer...I don't believe that they will legally do anything to you as its probably more trouble than its worth but I would do what you could to avoid dealing with the police since they are happy to hit/taze/mace you since they have a vendetta against society (which is why they have chosen to become police officers) and especially you guys (rhetorically) for driving them to become Cops. However, if you never admit to making a false statement, you never made a false statement! Such a lovely paradox!

Good luck and stay out of trouble...it gets you nowhere!
