Which of the following is a false statement regarding DNA?

Which of the following is a false statement regarding DNA?

a. Every cell uses DNA as its genetic information.

b.All forms of life are composed of cells that have a membrane-enclosed nucleus.

c.DNA is the unit of inheritance that is transmitted from parent to offspring.

d.Every cell is enclosed by a membrane.

e.Each chromosome has one very long DNA molecule with hundreds of thousands of genesWhich of the following is a false statement regarding DNA?
Terrible question.

b. is the easy answer.

But c. is also wrong. The unit of inheritance is the gene.

e. is also wrong. Diploid chromsomes consist of two long DNA molecules (chromatids) that have thousands, not hundreds of thousands of genes. The number of genes varies from species to species; but humans have about 20-25 000 genes. So hundreds of thousands are clearly wrong for humans at least.

I can even think of examples where a. is wrong.

And in any case, b doesn't even talk about DNA really. Nor d.Which of the following is a false statement regarding DNA?
B. is incorrect, prokaryotes lack a membrane-enclosed nucleus.
